Art schools of Rouen and Le Havre in the "Letter of Drac"
In its November / December 2010 (No. 12), the Letter of Drac Haute-Normandie devotes a section to the assessment by AERES ( Assessment Agency Research and the Higher Education) the ERBA esaHS Rouen and Le Havre.
Schools Art Rouen and Le Havre
Agency evaluation of research and higher education proceeds since the beginning of 2010 a national assessment of diplomas issued in 50 art schools in France so far placed under the responsibility of cities. This is done in view of their expected approval of the European reference system, known as the "LMD" (Licence, Master, Doctorate). Haute-Normandie, the two art schools in Rouen (ERBA) and Le Havre (Esah), who each prepare to DNSEP (Higher National Diploma of the plastic arts) Art option and the option for Havre Design come to be evaluated very positively. The work done for this approval by their directors, Francois and Thierry Lags Heynen, has allowed these colleges to get very good "notes." The issue is important to European and international levels, both in terms of emulation of the schools of the exchange of teachers and students. The last step in the assimilation to the rank of Master of Visual Arts graduate degrees awarded in Normandy is the creation of an independent governance body, and probably common as an EPCC, for these two schools .
