In 1965-1966, age 20, Bernard Plossu makes a trip to Mexico. He photographed and filmed with a Super 8 camera. His photographs will result in 1979, publishing a book in worship Contrejour, Travel Mexico, with a preface by Denis Roche. More than just a travel album, this book is the witness of an era and a generation who aspired to a life free without agreement, the current beatnik and hippie movement which was linked Plossu Bernard. His films Super 8, Bernard Plossu keep them in a closet for over 40 years, up to forget the content. In 2009, on the advice of Didier Morin planning another trip Mexican Plossu Bernard decides to perform a telecine to all of its coils, which allows the production of a film than thirty minutes not a sound, consisting of a ordered sequence of shots but not mounted. Another Mexican trip, Didier Morin color, 110 '
Another Mexican trip is a road movie of 110 minutes. Shot in two months in Mexico and the United States, it documents the trip to Mexico as carried Bernard Plossu in 1965-1966, and which gave rise to a publication by Editions Contrejour in 1979, the Mexican trip.
