Excerpt from press release:

If the function of a security is to condense the content itself or exposure to summarize the spirit The title as the curator's art piece is enough to make life difficult. This statement - which sounds like a conceptual statement pure juice - is a work of Stefan Brüggemann, Mexican artist based in London, which is developing in recent years a list of titles of exhibitions (Show Titles ) that puts the free free. On closer look, this title contradicts itself could serve as a primer in many syllogisms it seems to us more relevant to consider in its aspect "functional", but not as a statement of work for its value. In fact, Show Titles pieces are latent, meaning that they exist as as if it is used; when they are
"activated" by a third party, n 'belong more completely and entirely at the artist become somewhat collaborative. Precisely because of their complex nature or status fluctuating as the works in this exhibition have been met: how they define themselves in relation to use or environment, positioning / moving towards an environment that is one of art history or tradition of painting, or how they escape sometimes their creator ... somehow, size "existential."

Exhibition opening Guillaume Viaud The output is in deep space Cultural Center Jean-Pierre Saint-Fabrègue Yrieix-La-Perche Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 18h. Exhibition organized by the FRAC Limousin.

Born in 1983 in Bernay and graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Rouen in 2006, the young Guillaume Viaud was particularly noted in 2009 at the 54th Salon de Montrouge. He exhibited "Walking Piece", a cube covered with mirrors and equipped with straps to be carried on the back and the wall, a set of eight photographic prints in color. These photographs, taken by someone else, show the artist with its cube-mirror back that travels the famous garden of Claude Monet in Giverny, among the flower beds. This series of photographs documenting the artist's walk from different points of view. The variety of frames can show the carrier back, or three-quarters in the foreground of the image, or disseminated in vegetation among the tourists, among other silhouette. The visible faces of the mirror multiply the plant environment to suggest a phenomenon of visual pop. Thus, while the artist is just background, it is distinguished from the environment as a reflection of her bright and square-cube mirror that becomes a kind of blinding signal.
While he revisits this high place of inspiration for Claude Monet became a tourist site, Viaud us into games fresh perspective. His backpack is a rudimentary tool that multiplies the points of view and, in turn, gives us to see other approaches to real can not be reduced to a single photograph, but here at eight, the selection valid for all Other potential.
The young artist explores the limits of the world and its representation. The series of tape measures articulated demonstrates, in the form of relief, his interest in the relativity of the measure presented here as a broken line, as a remembrance of accident Stoppages-Stallions of Marcel Duchamp.
Elsewhere, in a photograph taken at a lake sorry, the artist presents an observer who gives the scale a bit like some paintings of Gaspard Friedrich. At his feet, cushions reflect shimmering colors of the landscape.

Beauties Collection Editor Camille Saint-Jacques and Eric Suchère

Beauty is the first word, the most spontaneous, the most common, also the most controversial, to say our relationship to art and aesthetics. We say that is to fall well below that in choosing this name for title of a collection, we were wrong radius, we believe that we will not deal with contemporary art, but cosmetics and perfumes. Exactly, a little change of air!
Because the series "Beauties" is dedicated to contemporary art, she loves all that the experience of art can have an amateur than the museums and the market offer to see. Requesting all the humanities, each volume of the collection deals with a problem related
to contemporary practice of art. The theme is put into perspective by a variety of contributions and enriched with a feature on an artist whose work is emblematic of the issues identified.

Franck Rezzak at Galerie Agnès b. (Hong Kong)

Exhibition opening Friday, January 21 to 19 hours at the gallery Agnès b. Hong Kong.

The soundtrack to the exhibition was made by Jim, in her fifth year at Erba Rouen.

Rezzak hairstyle inaugurates a project in three parts, exploring specifically the land conquered by the plasticity body. This first approach focuses on the cosmetics of the housewife and consider the beauty salon as a place of transformation, where the bodies are flesh fantasies. Despite the soothing aspect of toilets, it is the explosion of standards is being prepared, the renewal of genres and figures that promises the advance of science on the body. Dreamlike or nightmarish vision,
images show strongly that the sculpture itself implies in terms of unconscious desires and beauty eternity to repressions of domestic life. The physical demonstration, which is like drawing a work surface, inevitably to sign the hidden impulses that motivate the ...

Funny Anniversary Wording

Finally

Finally I got out of my box. She settled in the small meadow. I have not yet entitled to the prairie, but at least I can find "my kids". Because until now, I could see that from my window. Phew, it's been a week since I came in this box, in very bad shape. Yes again, I was sick. In my tummy. Colic again and again.
I received visits, at least not those I love most. They gave me these things !!!!! I can not tell you everything. "The youngster" (the veto ) it even made me sleep. Oh I was not so bad, her head resting on the shoulder from her , I was snoring in ears.
"The youngster", he mentioned my age. Grand Age !!!!! If he wants to, can be running and little younger I am sure he will see my butt.
I have little legs but I know them on when needed. No but!!
Pouff , no respect. What ........... 24 years is the best age.
I know that I am very worried for her. She was always around me, watching me, give me my medication, day, night. I was very, very wise.
is not me that on Monday I took to their heels to go on the road ..... eh, my dear Galaxy. Well that's an aside.
her, she told me I was great ...... Um, thank you I already knew.
That was great, yeah, too.
One evening, I had very sore in my belly, and that she gave me a big hug, I felt on his cheek a few drops of water. It was not raining in my box ..... I understood what it was. To support my spirits, it made me make short walks to the loin. That I take a little air and I resourceful my gams, as She said.
Voila, I hope it's the end of my adventure painful. If you knew how happy I am to be able to get me rolling in the mud, get some tips of grass.
You understand better why it was so far available, it was with me.
Thanks to all those who took from me, it's too nice. *************************

Edict of 17 January:
Watch, a few minutes ago, Verdine, joining the meadow, its not insured and lively. Then see her trot, gallop, rear up, kick, shake her head in all directions. On his neck there remain traces of the dark hours. But his joy, his strength of character, his cheerfulness, his recklessness, are my little pleasures of the day. I savor these moments, they erase all those painful moments, and move me deeply. Thank you my
Dinette

Excerpt from press release:

Since his disappearance, Piotr Kowalski (1927-2004), one of the most important artists and the most singular of the second half of the 20th century, was "Lost", at least by the institutions of modern and contemporary art which he has nevertheless often been exposed. At the initiative of Karaïndros Jason, who was part of the workshop that the sculptor has led to the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Rouen organizes an exhibition that wants to be first not in the way of recognition necessary. At the outset, the idea was to combine the presentation of some key works of the artist to that of today's young artists working in the same field of imagination, the approaches where attention to this which is released for thought in the sciences of nature plays a predominant role.

United by Jason Karaïndros, multimedia artist and professor at the School of Rouen and Jean-Christophe Bailly, author of a monograph and numerous texts on Kowalski, four young artists, therefore, agreed give substance to their work by this idea of continuity speculative contemporary art. Two of them, Jiro Nakayama and Jun Takita, were students and assistants Piotr Kowalski, whose ties with Japan were very close. The other two, younger (Bettina Samson and Rodolphe Delaunay), have not known. But what is at stake, they are certainly not influence, let alone a family, a certain community is attitude, and the decision to radically modern.
